China goes up at the top of medal standings as they win two last medals on the final day of ISSF World Cup Stage at Rio de Janeiro. The final day was in the books today when Hui Zicheng and Zhu Qinan of China won the Gold and Bronze medals. With this the total medals for China went up to 7 in total with 2 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronzes.
It was a new chapter in the history of Shooting sport.
Matthew Emmons of USA won Silver, closing the gap with Hui during the final shots of the match, but couldn’t cross the Chinese almost-perfect 10.8 that sealed the Gold medal which had Hui at 463.7 points 2.1 ahead of Emmons. His silver is the third one collected by US in this competition.
Zhu Qinan of China finished at 451.2 points to take the bronze. He led the points table of finals after the kneeling and prone series.
