5. Scott Styris 141 (New Zealand)
Scott Styris had played one of the best innings for New Zeland while facing the arch-rival Sri Lanka in a group match. New Zealanders were required 273 runs to win the match when Styris came to crease at the score of 2 for 2. Styris stood like a rock and batted with authority against the tricky Sri Lankan bowling.
He was the last man to get out in 45th over when New Zealand lost the match by 47 runs. Scott Styris made 141 runs off 125 balls including 3 fours and 6 sixes. This innings got registered on the highest scores at Cricket World Cup 2003 board.
4. Herschelle Gibbs – 143 (South Africa)
The opener Herschelle Gibbs batted brilliantly from one side and helped his team to reach a respectable total against New Zealand. Gibbs batted with responsibility while other batsmen kept on losing wickets.

He played a massive innings of 143 runs off 141 balls that had 19 boundaries and 3 hammering sixes over the fence. But this giant innings couldn’t save South Africa from defeat, when New Zealand won the match by 9 wickets. This innings got registered on the highest scores at Cricket World Cup 2003 board.
3. Andrew Symonds – 143* (Australia)
It was a tough match for Australia when they faced Pakistan. Australians were struggling with a score of 86 for 4. But it was Andrew Symonds who stood against Pakistani fast & spin bowling attack.
At the moment, when most of the Australian batsmen were getting out from one end, Symonds played a responsible innings till the end to score unbeaten 143 runs off 125 balls with the help of 18 fours & 2 sixes. Australia won by 82 runs. This innings got registered on the highest scores at Cricket World Cup 2003 board.

2. Sachin Tendulkar – 152* (India)
Sachin Tendulkar batted superbly against Namibia to score 152 runs not out off 151 balls that had 18 boundaries and his 240+ runs partnership with Captain Sourav Ganguly helped India to remain top in the chart of the tournament.
Tendulkar looked set and no bowler could trouble him while he faced 25 overs and scored run a ball score. This innings got registered on the highest scores at Cricket World Cup 2003 board.
1. Craig Wishart – 172*(Zimbabwe)
It was one of the solid innings by the opener Craig Wishart who went on to score the highest individual score of the tournament against Namibia. Wishart was a terrific stroke player and he had every shot in his book that he played against Namibian bowlers.

Grant Flower supported him well in their 250+ runs partnership. Wishart made unbeaten 172 runs off 151 balls with 18 fours and 3 sixes. This innings tops the highest scores at Cricket World Cup 2003 board.
