The FAI has announced the winners’ list of the 2020 FAI Young Artists Contest, an international air sports-themed art competition for youngsters between the ages of six and 17. American artists in particular have distinguished themselves this year, with three artists out of the nine winners.
The winning international paintings were chosen among the national winners from 13 FAI Member countries: Canada, China, Finland, Great Britain, India, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa and the USA.
The participants gave free rein to their imaginations around this year’s theme “Flying yesterday and tomorrow”. They were split in three age categories: Junior (six to nine years old); Intermediate (10-13); and Senior (14-17).
All the winners will be presented with FAI Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, as well as diplomas.
