Today we bring you information about some of the Delhi Players in IPL 2021. Delhi has given some renowned names to International cricket like Bishen Singh Bedi, Mohinder Amarnath, Manoj Prabhakar, Virender Sehwag, Surinder Khanna, Gautam Gambhir & Nawab Pataudi in the past and continues to do so in present.

Shikhar Dhawan
The Left handed batsman Shikhar Dhawan played for India U-17 and U-19 teams before making his first class debut for Delhi team in 2004, the year he also played ICC U-19 World Cup for India. Dhawan, in fact, was the leading run scorer of the tournament. The Delhi Cricketer would make his IPL debut in 2008, the inaugural edition, as he would be picked by the Delhi Daredevils team for the season.
Dhawan has since then played for Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad and now back to Delhi Capitals as he features among the top Delhi Players in IPL 2021. The aggressive player was the second highest scorer in IPL 2010 with 618 runs from the season.
Ishant Sharma
The pace bowler Ishant Sharma played for India U-19 team and started playing for Delhi in 2006-07. Ishant would debut for India senior in 2007 and was picked by Kolkata Knight riders in IPL 2008. The Delhi Cricketer, has since then, been part of Indian Premier League tournament, though he wouldn’t get many games in the season apart from 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 & 2019 seasons.
Ishant Sharma, in his IPL career, has played for Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiant, Kings XI Punjab apart from KKR and now part of the Delhi Capitals squad as he is among the Delhi Players in IPL 2021.
Virat Kohli
Another top cricketer to come from the India U-19 set up, Virat Kohli made his domestic cricket debut with Delhi in 2006 though he had been playing for the state side since U-15 days. Virat would go on to captain title winning India at the 2008 ICC U-19 World Cup and would be the third highest scorer of the tournament. He would be picked by the Rahul Dravid led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the inaugural edition and Kohli, since then, has been part of this franchise as he features among the top Delhi Players in IPL 2021.
Kohli has many records in international cricket under his name and in IPL, he is the highest scorer as well as the highest scorer from a single season apart from other records that he owns. One record he is working on to change is his captaincy record in IPL. He would certainly want a trophy win under his list of records.
Nitish Rana, Pawan Negi, Jayant Yadav and Lalit Yadav are other cricketers who represent Delhi Players in IPL 2021.
