Today, we are discussing about the 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers. While Bundesliga is one of the most followed and popular competitions on this earth, these footballers decided the fate of their teams in one or more of their Bundesliga campaign.
Out of these, six teams have won it once or twice, but there are other six teams who have won it more than twice. These consistent footballers across seasons feature in the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
10. Klaus Allofs
The German Footballer, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 177 goals from 424 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 15 seasons, he played for just three club teams, viz. Fortuna Düsseldorf, FC Köln & Werder Bremen. These goals put Klaus Allofs into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 26 which came for FC Köln in 1984/85 from 32 matches, he scored 22 goals for Fortuna Düsseldorf in 1978/79 from 33 matches. Both his best and second best were seasons’ best performances.
9. Dieter Müller
The German Footballer, Dieter Müller, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 177 goals from 303 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span almost 18 years, he played for just two club teams, viz. Kickers Offenbach & FC Köln. These goals put Dieter Müller into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.

While his career best in season is 34 which came for FC Köln in 1976/77, he scored 24 goals for FC Köln in 1974/75 & 1977/78. Müller is also remembered for his 6 goals from single match of Bundesliga, which is yet to be surpassed. His best & one of the two second best are the best performances of the seasons’ he was in.
8. Stefan Kuntz
The German Footballer, Stefan Kuntz, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 179 goals from 449 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span close to two decades, he played for just three club teams, viz. KFC Uerdingen 05, VfL Bochum, FC Kaiserslautern & Arminia Bielefeld. These goals put Klaus Allofs into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 22 which came for VfL Bochum in 1985/86 from 34 matches, he scored 18 goals for FC Kaiserslautern in 1993/94. His best was the season’s best performance as well.
7. Ulf Kirsten
The German Footballer, Ulf Kirsten, who represented Germany in 100 international matches, has scored 182 goals from 350 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 13 years, he played for just one club team, viz. Bayer Leverkusen. These goals put Ulf Kirsten into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.

While his career best in season is 22 in 1996–97 & 1997–98, he scored 20 goals in 1992–93. Thrice, in 1992/93, 1996/97, 1997/98, he was the league’s top scorer.
6. Claudio Pizarro
The Footballer, Claudio Pizarro, who represented Peru in international tournaments, has scored 197 goals from 479 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 15 seasons, he played for just three club teams, viz. Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich & FC Köln. These goals put Claudio Pizarro into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 19 which came in 2000–01, he scored 18 goals in 2011–12 both for Werder Bremen. He has second most Bundesliga goals scored by a non-German player to his credit. He’s playing in current season, there may be change to his goal numbers by the end of this season.
5. Manfred Burgsmüller
The German Footballer, Manfred Burgsmüller, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 213 goals from 447 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 17 seasons, he played for just four club teams, viz. Rot-Weiss Essen, Borussia Dortmund, Nuremberg & Werder Bremen. These goals put Manfred Burgsmüller into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 27 which came for Borussia Dortmund in 1980/81 from 33 matches, he scored 22 goals in 1981/82. He also happens to be the Borussia Dortmund’s all-time top scorer in the Bundesliga.
4. Jupp Heynckes
The German Footballer, Jupp Heynckes, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 220 goals from 369 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 15 seasons, he played for just two club teams, viz. Hannover 96 & Borussia Mönchengladbach. These goals put Jupp Heynckes into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.

While his career best in season is 30 which came for Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1973/74, he scored 28 goals in 1972/73. He was the League’s top scorer for the consecutive seasons 1973/74 & 1974/75.
3. Robert Lewandowski
The Footballer, who represents Poland in international tournaments, has scored 228 goals from 314 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 10 seasons already, he played for just three club teams, viz. Borussia Dortmund & Bayern Munich. These goals put Robert Lewandowski into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 30 which came for Bayern Munich consecutively in 2015–16 & 2016–17, he scored 29 goals for the same team in 2017–18. He already has the most Bundesliga goals scored by a non-German player to his credit in his ongoing career. He’s playing in current season, there may be change to his goal numbers by the end of this season.

The German Footballer, Klaus Fischer, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 268 goals from 535 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 19 seasons, he played for just three club teams, viz. 1860 Munich, Schalke 04, FC Köln & VfL Bochum. These goals put Klaus Fischer into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 29 which came for Schalke 04 in 1975–76. It also happens to be the best performance by any footballer that season. He was well known for his bicycle kicks.
1. Gerd Müller
The German Footballer, Gerd Müller, who represented West Germany in international tournaments, has scored 365 goals from 427 Bundesliga matches. These matches, which span 14 seasons, he played for just one club team, viz. Bayern Munich. These goals put Gerd Müller, Der Bomber, into the list of 10 Bundesliga all-time top scorers.
While his career best in season is 40 in 1971–72, he scored 38 goals in 1969–70. Seven time, his season’s performances were the best performances by any footballer those seasons in Bundesliga.
