Today we discuss about the BBL Players in IPL 2020. Even before the Indian Premier League had evolved into the magnanimous cricketing spectacle that it is today, the Australian Cricket Board had led the way in organizing one of the first proper T20 leagues in the world which earned immense popularity for its innovative concepts and for generating huge financial revenue for the country’s cricketing board.
Cricket lovers all across the world binge in to watch the Big Bash League since it offers quality entertainment. We also get the opportunity to see our favorite players fight it out for the coveted BBL trophy which is given to the champions of the tournament. Many players who have been playing in the BBL have represented various franchises in the Indian Premier League as well.
Following are some of the most renowned BBL Players in IPL 2020-
Marcus Stoinis
A Player who has evolved as the go-to man for the Delhi Capitals franchise this season and a big reason behind their successful campaign, with the team on the brink of qualifying to the playoffs, Marcus Stoinis has played the perfect role of a floater in the batting order. When a good foundation has been set by the top-order batsmen, he has been sent to provide the final flourish at the back end of an innings. Among the BBL Players in IPL 2020.
When the run rate has become sluggish in the middle overs, he has been sent to strike a few meaty blows and up the scoring rate. Both these roles have been performed with aplomb by Stoinis. With the ball in hand, he has been given the responsibility to bowl the final over where he has been successful in restricting the opposition and picking up wickets simultaneously. Thus he has been a crucial part of the franchise and has contributed regularly to the victories earned by the franchise in the competition.
Aaron Finch
Finch has been picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Australian Limited Overs Captain has played some very crucial innings at the top of the order providing the team with the much-required solidity to post a good total on board.
Although Finch has not been able to set the tournament ablaze like has done in the past, his steady knocks have ensured that Royal Challengers Bangalore’s two biggest names- Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers can get a solid foundation from where they can work their magic and win games for the franchise. Adam Zampa
One of the BBL Players in IPL 2020, Zampa has been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. Despite missing out initially due to injury concerns, Zampa has not been effective enough in the matches he has played for the franchise. In a few of them, he has been carted for runs to all corners of the ground. He has faltered in his line and lengths when put under pressure against strong and quality batting line-ups in the opposition ranks.
With the pitches in UAE becoming slow and dry, RCB might decide to play an extra leg-spinner in the form of Zampa to assist Yuzvendra Chahal who like seasons before this has been a champion bowler and the trump card for RCB. However, with the season going so well for the franchise, it is doubtful that RCB would make a change to the winning combination. Among the BBL Players in IPL 2020.
Chris Lynn
The explosive Australian opener from Queensland had been an integral part of Kolkata Knight Riders for the last few seasons. However, owing to injuries that have pegged back Lynn’s chances of representing the national team on many occasions in the past, he was dropped from the team and was ultimately bought by the Mumbai Indians franchise this year.
However, with Mumbai playing some excellent brand of cricket with their existing team combination, it is unlikely that Lynn would get a chance to feature in the playing XI at the business end of the tournament. Among the BBL Players in IPL 2020.
