During the match between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, Mahela Jayawardene became the first cricketer of Sri Lanka to score a century in the world cup championship.
During the match between India and South Africa, Suresh Riana recorded the title of the third man to score a century in the World T20 Championship.

Semi-Finals
The semi-finals between Sri Lanka and England, Sri Lanka won the toss and they elected to bat first and could reach the score of 128 runs for six wickets in twenty overs. In response to that England scored 132 runs for only three wickets and the player of the match was Kevin Pietersen.
In the Semi-final between Pakistan and Australia, Australia first won the toss and they chose to field Pakistan making 191 runs for six wickets, and in the response of that Australia played a remarkable inning and scored 197 runs with one ball remaining. Michael Hussey lifted the player of the match with 60 runs in only 24 balls.
T20 World Cup 2010 Final- A grand day
The final happened in Barbados on 16th May 2010 between England and Australia firstly England won the toss and they first opted to field. Australia could mark the score of 147 runs with six wickets down in twenty overs and in response to that England scored 148 runs within the 17th over with only three wickets down, the player of the match was Craig Kieswetter. England was the team of champions and booming on the field of grass.
