10. Manchester City vs Birmingham City, 1956 FA Cup Final
Manchester City won their 3rd FA Cup in spectacular fashion, especially for their goalkeeper Bert Trautmann, a German prisoner-of-war who played majority of the second half with a broken neck.
City were facing Birmingham City and the shotstopper saved a number of on-target shots to make sure the FA Cup was theirs to take.

Manchester City became only the second team after Spurs to win the Cup Winners’ Cup as well as the League in a single season as the likes of Summerbee and Bell guided the Manchunians to a delightful victory over Polish side Górnik Zabrze in Vienna.

Newly promoted City ran riot over Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United at Maine Road as David Oldfield, Ian Bishop, Trevor Morley and Andy Hinchcliffe scored to make it 5-1 in favour of the Blues.
The Reds fans chanted ‘Fergie out’ after the game, in a dramatic realization of what could have been had their wishes been granted.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City beat arch-rivals United at Wembley in the semifinal of the 2011 FA Cup to set up a spot in the Final of the competition against Stoke City.
Yaya Toure scored the only goal of the game as United couldn’t find a reply to City’s solid defense throughout the game. The Blues ended the Red Devils’ 7 game unbeaten record to dump them out of the FA Cup.

An absolute destruction of Manchester United at Old Trafford, City announced on this day that they were here to stay and take the throne from United. And they have continued on their merry way ever since.
Citizens came to the Theatre of Dreams and smashed 6 past David de Gea to embarrass their rivals to no end. Alex Ferguson described this day as the ‘Worst Day’ in his managerial career.
4. Manchester City v Queens Park Rangers, 2011-12 Premier League
The AGUEROOOOOO moment. Every City fan lives and breathes this moment as City snatched the Premier League from under the nose of their cross tow rivals Manchester United with a 94th minute goal at the Etihad against Queens Park Rangers.
After trailing 1-2 for a good part of the game, City pulled one back really late and then added another in extra time to complete a wonderful title haul.

Manchester City and Liverpool were locked in one of the most competitive title races the Premier League era has seen, with City pipping the Reds to the title by a single point. The teams finished with 98 and 97 points respectively and when you track back, you will see that it all mattered on one game.
City welcomed Liverpool to the Etihad on 3rd Jan, 2019 in the Premier League. The game was a tight one, one that went right down to the wire, but City held their nerve and got across the line thanks to goals from Aguero and Sane.
2. Manchester City vs Chelsea, 2018-19 Carabao Cup Final
City met Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in the final of the Carabao Cup. Chelsea were gunning for their first trophy under Maurizio Sarri, the Italian head coach brought in from Napoli.
City held their nerves in the shootout after it had finished 0-0 in extra time, to win 5-4 on penalties. The match was marred by Chelsea keeper Arrizabalaga’s reluctance to not come off even after being summoned by Sarri.

1. Manchester City vs Gillingham, 1999 Football League Division Two
Man City had to suffer relegation in the Premier League era, but they came back with successive promotions to the top flight. The first of those, a Football Division Two shootout victory over Gillingham was the pick of the lot as it served as an impetus to the group of players that really wanted to play at the top level.
