Kolkata: Fifteen-year-old left-arm pacer Akash Chaudhary etched his name in the history books as he took 10 wickets in a local T20 match without conceding a single run in four overs.
According to information received here, the Rajasthan pacer, while representing Disha Cricket Academy in the Late Bhawer Singh T20 tournament achieved this unique feat against Pearl Academy.
Pearl Academy won the toss and chose to field and they restricted Disha Cricket Academy to just 156 runs in their 20 overs. But the Bharatpur lad was on fire as he single-handedly ripped apart the Pearl Academy batting as they were shot out for a meagre 36 in the tournament, named in the memory of a local ground owner’s grandfather.
Akash had started the damage with two wickets in his first over and then he scalped two each in his second and third overs. In his fourth and final over, he took a hat-trick and dismissed four remaining batsmen to claim all ten wickets in the match. His figures read-4-4-0-10.
