Kazan: Anjul Namdeo and Aditya Kumar of India finished 10th and 16th in the Taolu Men’s Qiangshu event at the 14th Wushu World Championship 2017 here at Kazan, Russia.
Anjul scored 9.34 points while Aditya was not able to impress referees and scored just 8.79 points.
China’s Yaowen Zhang won Gold with 9.71 points, while Malaysia’s Weng Son Wong and his teammate Wai Kip Yeap won Silver and Bronze with 9.66 and 9.64 points.
In Qiangshu a player uses Chinese Spear as the main element. The term came from Qiang which is the Chinese term for spear. Due to its relative ease of manufacture, the spear in many variations was ubiquitous on the pre-modern Chinese battlefield.
