The finalized rosters of all 16 participating teams at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2017 in Cairo, Egypt have been verified and confirmed.
With the action tipping off on Saturday July 1, all rosters have been trimmed to 12 players.

• Group A: Argentina; New Zealand; Korea; France
• Group B: Germany; Egypt; Puerto Rico; Lithuania
• Group C: Canada; Japan; Spain; Mali
• Group D: Iran; Angola; Italy; USA
In the Group Phase, each team will face the other three in its group (a total of 3 games for each team).
All teams will advance to the Round of 16, where they will cross between Groups A and B and C and D (A1 v B4, A2 v B3, etc.). This opens the Final Phase of the competition, played in a knock-out format.
The winners of Round of 16 games will advance to the Quarter-Finals, while the losers move on to the Classification Games for Places 9-16.
The Final and the 3rd-Place Game will be played on Sunday July 9.
It is the first time that a FIBA world youth event is staged on the African continent.
