McGrath took 7 wickets for 15 runs as Australia’s pace battery, supported by Brett Lee and Andy Bichel finished the Namibians chasing 302 for victory for only 45 runs.

Another Canada disappointment as the North Americans folded up for a minimal 45 in the face of Chris Old and Willis of England as they snared 8 Canada wickets among themselves.
Such was the situation of the Canada team that only one batsman, F Dennis got into double figures, top-scoring with a 21 run cameo.

It was always going to be tough for minnows Canada against eventual finalists Sri Lanka in Paarl but what culminated was a World record as Canada fell for a paltry 36 runs in the face of superb fast bowling by Prabath Nissanka and Chaminda Vaas, claiming 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
