10. Manchester United vs Aston Villa, 2012-13 Premier League
Manchester United took the Premier League trophy back form Manchester City in prime fashion as they demolished Aston Villa at home thanks to a Robin van Persie brace, including a supreme volley.
The Red Devils were the kings of England again and Alex Ferguson also announced his retirement from coaching days after this victory.
9. Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspurs, 1998-99 Premier League
Stunning goals from David Beckham and Andy Cole enabled the Red Devils to confirm the first piece of the treble as they beat Tottenham at Old Trafford to seal the Premiership in their favor after Les Ferdinand’s early goal had given the Londoners an advantage.

8. Crystal Palace vs Manchester United, 1990 FA Cup Final
Sir Alex Ferguson was almost on the verge of being sacked and this was the trophy that gave him some breathing space. To think what Manchester United would have missed had they sacked the Scot.
United scored in extra time through Mark Hughes before Ian Wright had scored twice after coming off the bench in a 3-3 thriller that went down to penalties at Wembley.
7. Benfica vs Manchester United, 1968 European Cup Final
Bobby Charlton led United to European glory just 10 days after the Munich Air Disaster.
The ethos of Manchester United was deeply embedded in this victory that gave them European glory against Eusebio’s Benfica. The Red Devils played in a blue strip and won 4-1 on the night at the Wembley stadium in London.
6. Manchester United vs Arsenal, 2004-05 Premier League
It was Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United that put an end to the Invincible run of Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, a run that lasted for 49 matches and was finally broken at Old Trafford when Rudd van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney claimed goals to make it 2-0 in favour of the Manchester outfit.

5. Paris St. Germain vs Manchester United, 2018-19 UEFA Champions League
United made history in Paris as the team led by caretaker manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer defeated the Parisians 1-3 on a crazy night that saw them also overturn a 2-0 home deficit to proceed to the next round on away goals.
The Round of 16 game was full of drama as Lukaku and Rashford scored, PSG equalised through Bernat and an extra time penalty to United settled the tie.

4. Manchester United vs Ajax, 2017 UEFA Europa League Final
Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge at Old Trafford ended up with him qualifying for next year’s Champions League by beating Ajax in the Final of the Europa League.
Goals from Pogba, Mkhtariyan meant United came away with an easy 2-0 win to claim their first Europa League trophy.
3. Manchester United vs Bayern Munich, 1999 UEFA Champions League Final
Probably the best Champions League Final of all time, Manchester United clinched the treble by beating German giants Bayern Munich at Camp Nou.
They had already secured the Premier League and the FA Cup and were gunning for their first treble when drama unfolded real fast. Late goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunner Solskjaer meant United once again latched onto last minute goals to bring home their first and only treble to date.
2. Manchester City vs Manchester United, 2017-18 Premier League
Manchester City were the new Kings of England, they were holding a sizable lead of 14 points in the title race to second placed Manchester United and winning at the Etihad against United would guarantee them the Premier League title.
However, despite having a great start to the game and going into halftime leading 2-0, it wasn’t meant to be and a brace from Pogba and a match deciding goal from Chris Smalling meant United came away with a 2-3 away win.

1. Liverpool vs Manchester United, 2007-08 Premier League
The rivalry between Manchester United and Liverpool is unparalleled. The Reds of Merseyside and the Red Devils have had many a face-off over the decades, but United rubbed salt in their rivals’ wounds when they pulled of a dramatic 3-0 victory over 10 man Liverpool at Old Trafford.
This was also Alex Ferguson’s biggest victory over Liverpool in his career as United boss. Goals came from Cristiano Ronaldo and Wes Brown.
