In a bid to boost its project that ITTF and United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) had launched on April 6, this year at earthquake hit Nepal, the two parties have launched a 3 year para table tennis (PTT) project. The project which aims at supporting the disabled children and providing them with opportunity to develop their careers in Table Tennis, the program,“Table Tennis for NepALL.”
The video features Australian Melissa Tapper who’s a para-Table Tennis player, accredited with being one of the two Paralympic Table Tennis players to be competing at the Rio 2016 Olympic Summer Games; the other athlete being Natalia Partyka. Melissa has been brought in as the face of the program, as seen in the video through which ITTF aims to support the project.
