Profile | Venkatesh Prasad was a medium pacer, but is more recalled for his leg cutters. Perhaps the first Indian medium pacer whose leg cutters were main weapon. A decent career he had and was perhaps the longest partner of Javagal Srinath, the Indian premier medium pacer of yesteryears, in that era. His on-field spat with Aamer Sohail is an incident which has been visited and revisited a number of times, also coz of friend-foe relations with the neighboring country. |
