Serena Williams is an American professional tennis player, who represents the United States internationally in tennis. She is currently ranked as the no. 1 tennis player in women’s singles according to the WTA and holds the rank of 3 in the Open Era among the current female tennis stars.

Serena is an exceptionally talented player, who currently appears in all disciplines of tennis as an active player. She plays for doubles & mixed doubles formats too and holds a prestigious rank for her contribution in all the meadows. She started playing tennis professionally since the age of 9 and her father instigated her talent by letting her participating in the junior tennis tournament at the age of 10.

She took her initial tennis training from the Macci’s Tennis Academy for a couple of years. However, later his father took control of her coaching soon and started giving her perfect professional training at home. She started her professional career when she was 14 as a wild card entry in California tournament.

Since then, Serena has appeared in numbers of international matches, won many prestigious titles, and the legacy has been continuing till the present days. She is most popular for her immediate control of rallies and forceful ground-strokes. She has a record peak serve speed of 128.6 mp/h in the history of the Australian Open.
