Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player, who plays from the national side of Switzerland since 1998. He is one of the most popular tennis stars of recent times and considered World’s no. 3 player in Men’s singles tennis by the ATP ranking.

He has started his career as a professional tennis player since his childhood and served the Swiss Armed Forces for a couple of years before pursuing his tennis profession. Besides tennis, Federer also had played badminton and basketball in his early age. He served as a ball boy at his native place for 1992-1993 sessions.

He made his international debut at the age of 17 but grabbed the attention of this world since his Davis Cup debut for Switzerland in 1999 against Italy. He shone in ITF Junior World Championship as an emerging tennis player of the year and soon ranked No. 1 in junior world ranking list for his undeniable contribution in this game.

His impeccable talent and unmatchable determination made him an ‘all-court’ specialist. This all-rounder tennis player is mostly praised for his speed, shot-making tactic, and fluid style.
