Reeza Raphael Hendricks is a South African
International Cricketer, who plays for ODI and T20I formats as a middle-order
batsman. He has represented the Highveld Lions team in domestic level and got a
chance to prove his skill in ODI matches lately in 2018. This right-handed
South African player was born in Kimberley town of the Cape Province city of
South Africa in 1989. He has played several domestic matches before he was
selected for the national cricket team in 2014 for T20I matches.

Hendricks has made his impression with the
shiny innings of twenty20 match in 2017. He was playing for Highveld Lions
squad in the match and scored an unbeaten 102 run against Dolphins. Not only
that, Hendricks became the highest scorer of that tournament as well with 361
runs out of eight matches!

His domestic cricket career was started
with Griqualand West team at the beginning. After this, Reeza Hendricks took part
in the Under-19 South Africa team before he was selected for the national team.
Hendricks is mostly appreciated for his short format skill of power-hitting. Unfortunately,
he couldn’t grab chances and couldn’t cement his place in the national team at his
first attempt in 2014. However, gradually he has made a special rank as a
regular middle-order batsman in short format games with his back to back performances
in T20I matches.

Hendricks has created a reputation of a
destructive opener and proficient at pacing a knock. He also has been
consistently scoring well at the top and middle order of
the batting lineup. However, he was criticized for being a non-slogger and that
he never showed efforts to score quick runs when the team needs be. Despite
this drawback, Reeza Hendricks holds his permanent place in short format
matches due to his unavoidable batting skills.
