Profile

Evin Lewis is a Trinidadian cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of West Indies since 2016. He plays for only shorter formats of the game in limited-over matches and represents Trinidad & Tobago team in domestic circuit. Evin is a left-handed opening batsman and occasionally bowls in right-arm medium fast bowler. He used to play for West Indies Under-19 team and represented the squad in the Under-19 World Cup in 2010, before his national selection.

Evin Lewis played a head-turner performance in 2013 Champions League and came into the limelight for the very first time. After serving the West Indies team in ICC World Twenty20 in 2016, he made his international debut through a T20I match against Afghanistan. Evin made his ODI debut in the same following year against Pakistan and became a regular player of the in limited-over games.

Apart from international tournaments, Evin Lewis also plays in first-class matches, Twenty20 Leagues, and Super League franchise for different countries. Recently, he was named in the West Indies team for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
