Profile | Colin Munro is a New Zealand International cricketer, who plays for the national team of New Zealand since 2012. He is a South-Africa-born New Zealand cricketer and plays for only limited over formats of the game. He has represented New Zealand Under-19 team in his teenage and played for Auckland squad as well in first-class cricket. He moved to New Zealand during his school days and started playing for the domestic cricket for New Zealand since his college days. He has played an unforgettable inning in Plunkett Shield in domestic circuit and got the chance to appear in the national team in 2012. He made his international debut through a T20I match against South Africa and playing for the national squad since then in the shorter formats of cricket. He has not started his test career so far successfully, has appeared in a single Test match in 2013 against South Africa. Colin Munro got back to restrict himself only into the shorter format of cricket since then but made his place permanent in limited-over games successfully. The fiery batting performance and all-rounder ability of this middle-order batsman have helped him enlist his name in the New Zealand squad for 2019 ICC World Cup. |
