Abid Ali is a Pakistani cricketer, who plays for the Pakistan national team from March 2019. He appears only in ODI format for now and hasn’t made his debut in rest two formats so far. Although Abid Ali just began his international career recently, he played almost 100 first-class matches in the domestic circuit. He is one of the leading run scorers in first-class cricket as well as List-A cricket with record numbers of runs.
He made his first-class with Lahore Ravi tournament in 2008 and continues his journey with the team before getting selected for the nationals. In late 2018, he named in Federal areas squad for the 2018 Pakistan Cup and played an unforgettable inning there. After this, Abid Ali got a chance in national Pakistan team and made his international debut through an ODI match against Australia. He shone from the very first match of his international career and made a century in his debut ODI match successfully. Recently, he was named for the Pakistan squad in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
