5. Shane Bond – New Zealand
It was considered that Shane Bond was the best fast bowler of New Zealand since Sir Richard Hadlee. The right-arm bowler was full of energy and speed. Bond was successfully bold in the tournament and always tried to put his team ahead in the chart.

Vaas took 6 wickets in the match and Sri Lanka won by 10 wickets in the tournament. Chaminda Vaas was considered as the greatest fast bowler of Sri Lanka for his performance in Test & ODI cricket.
