The tournament was co-hosted by Trinidad and Tobago during August 18-September 3, 2020. Trinbago Knight Riders won the tournament, their fourth Caribbean Premier League title, defeating St Lucia Zouks in the title clash. The Trinidad born left-handed WK batter, Nicholas Pooran, was a member of the Guyana Amazon Warriors team at the Caribbean Premier League 2020. Pooran, who would play for various T20 leagues across the globe, would go on to score 245 runs from 11 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 at an average of 27 around. His scores included a fifty & a hundred and Pooran’s 100 not out against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was his best & the highest individual score of the tournament. With these runs, Nicholas Pooran featured in the exclusive top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2020.

The Left hand batter from Guyana, Shimron Odilon Hetmyer, was part of the Guyana Amazon Warriors team for the Caribbean Premier League 2020. Hetmyer, who would play for Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League, would go on to score 267 runs from 11 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 at an average of almost 33. His score included three fifties and Shimron’s 71 against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was his best score of the tournament. With these runs, he made to the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2020.
3. Darren Bravo (Trinbago Knight Riders)
The left -handed batter from Trinidad, Darren Michael Bravo, was part of the Trinbago Knight Riders team for the Caribbean Premier League 2020. Bravo, who would play for most of the T20 leagues across the globe, would go on to score 297 runs from 9 innings of the 12 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 at an average of 59+. His score included 3 fifties; Bravo’s 58 not out against St Lucia Zouks was his best score of the tournament. With these runs, Darren Bravo made to the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2020.
2. Glenn Phillips (Jamaica Tallawahs)
The South Africa born Right hand WK-batter Glenn Dominic Phillips was part of the Jamaica Tallawahs team for the Caribbean Premier League 2020. Phillips, who would play for New Zealand in international cricket, would go on to score 316 runs from 10 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 at an average of 35+. His scores included 2 fifties; Glenn’s 79 not out against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was his best from the tournament. With these runs, Glenn Phillips reached the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2020.

The right-handed batter from Trinidad, Lendl Mark Platter Simmons, was part of the Trinbago Knight Riders team for the Caribbean Premier League 2020. Simmons, who would also play for most of the T20 leagues across the globe, would go on to score 356 runs from 11 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 at an average of 40 almost. His score included three fifties and Lendl’s 96 against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was his best score of the tournament. With these runs, Lendl Simmons made to the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2020.
