The CPL 2016 or Caribbean Premier League 2016 was the fourth edition of Caribbean Premier League which would see 6 franchise teams fighting for the tournament title. The tournament was co-hosted by Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, and United States during June 21-July 26, 2016. Jamaica Tallawahs won the tournament, their second Caribbean Premier League title, defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors in the title clash. The Left-handed batter from Durban, South Africa, Colin Munro, was part of the Trinbago Knight Riders team for the Caribbean Premier League 2016. Munro, who would also play for most of the T20 leagues across the globe, would go on to score 382 runs from 11 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2016 at an average of 38. His scores included 2 fifties & a hundred; Colin’s 100 not out against Guyana Amazon Warriors was his best score of the tournament. The Left-handed batter from Durban, South Africa, Hashim Mahomed Amla, was part of the Trinbago Knight Riders team for the Caribbean Premier League 2016. His scores included 2 fifties & a hundred; Gayle’s 108 not out against Trinbago Knight Riders was his best score and the highest individual score of the tournament. With these runs, Chris Gayle entered into the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2016.

The St. Lucia born Right-handed Opening batter, Johnson Charles, was a member of the Saint Lucia Zouks team at the Caribbean Premier League 2016. Charles, who would play for BBL, PSL & BPL as well, would go on to score 441 runs from 11 innings of the 11 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2016 at an average of 44 around. His scores included 4 fifties and Charles’ 94 not out against Guyana Amazon Warriors was his best from the tournament. With these runs, Johnson Charles featured in the exclusive top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2016.
1. Chris Lynn (Guyana Amazon Warriors)
The right handed wicket-keeper batter from Brisbane, Christopher Austin Lynn, was part of the Guyana Amazon Warriors team for the Caribbean Premier League 2016. Lynn, who would play for IPL, BBL, PSL & LPL as well, would go on to score 454 runs from 12 innings of the 12 matches he played in the Caribbean Premier League 2016 at an average of 45+. His score included three fifties; Lynn’s 86 against St Lucia Zouks was his best score of the tournament. With these runs, Chris Lynn featured into the top 5 list for the most runs in CPL 2016.
