Saeed Anwar was the batsman who got a pair on his test debut but went on to become the most successful opening batsman of Pakistan in the test and ODI matches. He was the in-form batsman of Pakistan during World Cup ’99 tournament.
Anwar scored two centuries consecutively, first against Zimbabwe and next-one against New Zealand in the semi-final match. It helped Pakistan to enter into the final match against Australia. Mark Waugh– Australia

Steve Waugh – Australia
