Today we bring to you the strategies that may help IPL Trophy campaign of RCB. Royal Challengers Bangalore has been the most glittering team in the history of this franchise cricket tournament featuring some of the biggest names ever. However, despite having batsmen with such superhuman batting talents, RCB has not been able to lay their claim on the IPL trophy.
The perennial underachievers of IPL, RCB came astonishingly close to winning the title in 2016. However, they were blown away in the final by a determined Sunrisers Hyderabad. This year RCB has assembled a fine batting unit comprising some of the biggest names in world cricket.

However, it is their bowling department that needs to fire in unison to make the team successful. The following are some of the strategies that may help IPL Trophy campaign of RCB.
Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, and Aaron Finch need to fire in unison:
RCB has retained the services of two of the biggest names in the history of world cricket, inarguably two of the greatest batsmen in the modern-day limited-overs game in Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers. The two can single-handedly decide the fortunes of their teams. RCB has roped in the Australian limited-overs captain Aaron Finch, another top-class batsman in the shorter format of the game.

Finch’s explosive batting at the top of the order would be instrumental behind RCB’s quest for a maiden IPL title. If RCB needs to win the title this time around, they need their top three performers to fire unanimously and win matches for their teams.
Virat Kohli has looked woefully out of touch due to the long break while AND has been at his destructive best. Finch too has shown glimpses of his prowess. But on a night when three of them failed, RCB capitulated to a humiliating loss to Kings XI Punjab, further proof that the batting department is completely dependent on them. These three are key to IPL Trophy campaign of RCB.
Their foreign acquisitions in Moeen Ali and Chris Morris need to play more games
Shivam Dube and Washinton Sundar are the two all-rounders playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Although they are two young and extremely talented Indian cricketers, what they highly lack is the international experience. So either Chris Morris or Moeen Ali needs to solidify that all-rounder slot even more if RCB are to taste success this season.
They have acquired the services of Morris by paying a huge sum of money but the South African all-rounder has been suffering from a niggle and has not been a part of the franchise to date. Although his addition will only bolster the batting and the bowling department of the team. Moreover, Moeen’s presence will also add the star power that is missing in the lower order of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Morris has already shown what he brings to the table, an important asset to the IPL Trophy campaign of RCB.
Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal will hold the key in the bowling department
Navdeep Saini has evolved tremendously as the premium fast bowler of this RCB Lineup. His pace has unsettled the opposition batsmen, his ability to bowl inswinging yorker and vary his length according to the requirement of the pitch has been one of the major reasons why he has been so successful as a bowler in this edition of the tournament.

Yuzvendra Chahal on the other hand has been a tad expensive, but the champion bowler that he is, his variations and deceptive bowling would make him a trump card for Virat Kohli. It has been RCB’s bowling department that has hurt them the most over the years. Chahal’s performance is key to IPL Trophy campaign of RCB in a way that he’s the main spinner of the line-up.
While Dale Steyn is a shadow of his former self Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Siraj are just not up to the mark on the majority of occasions. Adam Zampa might prove to be a crucial factor in the bowling department.
