This was the journey of Indian Hockey Team in 1932 Summer Games. It was an exhibition of Hockey Skills by the two brothers Dhyan Chand & Roop Singh who outscored every other player. Roop Singh top-scored for India and ended as the leading scorer of the tournament with 13 goals while Dhyan Chand ended with 12, thus 25 out of 35 goals were shared by these two.
Richard Allen was once again brilliant with defending the goalpost and barring the two goals he wouldn’t give any inch gap to opponents, forming a very tight cauldron with defenders. India, thus, won their second Olympic Gold Medal at the 1932 Summer Games. This is it for today. Hope you liked the content; we enjoy reading your thoughts and questions, don’t forget to comment.
