10. 100 (Fawad Alam, Sohail Tanvir)
On June 24, 2008, Pakistani Pair of Fawad Alam & Sohail Tanvir came together at the fall of Sarfaraz Ahmed against Hong Kong. The two went on to score 100 partnership runs at the National Stadium, Karachi in this Asia Cup match. Pakistan finished at 288/9.
While Alam scored a 77 ball 63 with 3 fours, Tanvir scored a 55-ball 59 with 6 fours. The partnership is 10th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the highest partnership for eighth wicket by any Pakistan ODI Pair. Hong Kong, in reply, were bowled out for 133.
9. 100 (Hitesh Modi, Aasif Karim)
On October 19, 1997, Kenyan pair of Hitesh Modi & Aasif Karim came together at the fall of Tony Suji against Zimbabwe. Kenya were chasing a target of 273 & these two went on to score 100 partnership runs at the Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi in a losing cause as their team got bowled out for 190.
While Modi scored a 102 ball 57 with 4 fours, Karim scored a 49-ball 53 with 6 fours & 2 sixes. The partnership is 9th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket by any Kenyan Pair.
8. 100* (MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar)
On August 24, 2017, Indian pair of MS Dhoni & Bhuvneshwar Kumar came together after fall of Axar Patel against Sri Lanka. India were chasing a D/L revised target of 231 and these two went on to add an unbeaten 100 partnership runs with India winning the match.

While Dhoni scored a 68 ball 45 with a four, Kumar scored a 104-ball 123 with 8 fours & 7 sixes. The partnership is 8th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the highest partnership for eighth ODI wicket by any Indian Pair.
7. 101 (Tanwir Afzal, Aizaz Khan)
On November 18, 2015, Hong Kong Pair of Tanwir Afzal & Aizaz Khan came together after fall of Waqas Khan against United Arab Emirates. These two went on to score 101 partnership runs at ICC Academy, Dubai with Hong Kong finishing at 282/8.

While Afzal scored a 33 ball 73 with 1 four & 7 sixes, Khan scored a 31 ball unbeaten 37 with 3 sixes. The partnership is 7th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket by any Hong Kong Pair. UAE, in reply, were bowled out for 146.
6. 101 (Andre Russell, Daren Sammy)
On March 25, 2012, West Indies pair of Andre Russell & Daren Sammy came together after fall of Kieron Pollard against Australia. These two went on to score 101 partnership runs at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia while on chase to Australia’s 283. West Indies couldn’t reach the target and were bowled out at 251.

5. 104 (Hamilton Masakadza, Graeme Cremer)
On January 2, 2016, Zimbabwean pair of Hamilton Masakadza & Graeme Cremer came together at the fall of Luke Jongwe against Afghanistan. The two batsmen went on to score 104 partnership runs though Zimbabwe were bowled out for 175.
While Masakadza scored a 138 ball 83 with 6 fours & 3 sixes, Cremer scored a 75-ball 58 with 3 fours & 3 sixes. The partnership is 5th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the third highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket by any Zimbabwe Pair. Afghanistan, on their chase, bundled out for 58.
4. 115 (Elton Chigumbura, Gary Brent)
On August 22, 2007, Zimbabwean pair of Elton Chigumbura & Gary Brent came together against South Africa and amassed 115 partnership runs. They were together after fall of Prosper Utseya at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 206.

While Chigumbura scored a 59 ball 74 with 6 fours & a six, Brent scored a 82-ball 59 with 4 fours & 2 sixes. The partnership is 4th on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. The partnership also happen to be the second highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket by any Zimbabwe Pair. South Africa chased down the target with 3.1 overs to spare.
3. 117 (David Houghton, Iain Butchart)
On October 10, 1987, Zimbabwean pair of David Houghton & Iain Butchart came together against New Zealand and amassed 117 partnership runs. They were together after fall of Peter Rawson at a Reliance World Cup match at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, Hyderabad. Zimbabwe, however, couldn’t reach the target and were bowled out for 239.
While Houghton scored a 137 ball 142 with 13 fours & 6 sixes, Butchart scored a 70-ball 54 with 2 fours & a six. The partnership is 3rd on top 10 of the highest ODI partnership for the eighth wicket. On April 4, 1994, Australian pair of Paul Reiffel & Shane Warne came together after fall of Ian Healy. The two went on to create 119 partnership runs against South Africa as they were chasing a target of 228. They couldn’t chase the target as Australia were bowled out for 201.

On November 26, 2006, South African pair of Justin Kemp & Andrew Hall came together to script what would be the highest ODI partnership for eighth wicket. South Africa were playing against India in a home ODI series match at Newlands, Cape Town. The two had come together post the fall of Shaun Pollock and held on to forge an unbroken partnership of 138 runs. South Africa finished at 274/7.
