Former Pakistan Quick Bowler Shoaib Akhtar is the seventh fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Akhtar achieved this milestone he was playing his 91st match. Shoaib would go on to play 163 ODI matches for his team to scalp 247 wickets at an average of 25 including 6 four-wicket hauls and 4 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against South Africa on October 10, 2003 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in a Bilateral ODI Series match. He would go on to take only one wicket in the match as South Africa would go on to win the match by 6 wickets.
9. Waqar Younis
Former Pakistan Pace Bowler Waqar Younis is the seventh fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Younis achieved this milestone he was playing his 91st match. Waqar would go on to play 262 ODI matches for his team to scalp 416 wickets at an average of 23.8 including 14 four-wicket hauls and 13 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against Australia on October 14, 1994 at Ibn-e-Qasim Bagh Stadium, Multan during a Wills Triangular Series match. He would go on to take one wickets in the match as his team would lose by 7 wickets.

South African Leg Spinner Imran Tahir is the sixth fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Tahir achieved this milestone he was playing his 89th match.
He was playing against Australia on November 4, 2018 at Perth Stadium during a Bilateral ODI Series match. Waqar would go on to take two wickets in the match as South Africa would bowl Kangaroos out for 152 to chase down the target with 6 wickets to spare.
7. Morne Morkel
Former South African Pacer Morne Morkel is the sixth fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Morne achieved this milestone he was playing his 89th match. Morkel would go on to play 117 ODI matches for his team to scalp 188 wickets at an average of 25.3 including 7 four-wicket hauls and 2 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against West Indies on January 18, 2015 at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg during a Bilateral ODI Series match. Morkel would go on to take two wickets in the match to restrict Windies to 291/7 while on chase to South Africa’s 439.

Former South African Quick Bowler Alan Donald is the sixth fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Allan achieved this milestone he was playing his 89th match. The Proteas great would go on to play 164 ODI matches for his team to scalp 272 wickets at an average of 21.8 including 11 four-wicket hauls and 2 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against West Indies on November 3, 1997 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore during a Wills Quadrangular Tournament match. Donald would go on to take two wickets in the match as South Africa would stop Windies to 293/8 to chase down the target with 5 wickets to spare.

Former Spinning sensation from Sri Lanka, Ajantha Mendis is the fifth fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Mendis achieved this milestone he was playing his 84th match. The bowler had an unusual bowling action and was often regarded as one of the best limited over bowlers by cricket pundits.
He was playing against West Indies on November 1, 2015 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo during a Bilateral ODI Series match. Ajantha would go on to take two wickets in the match as Sri Lanka would limit Windies to 159/8 in a rain curtailed match to win it by one wicket.
4. Brett Lee
Former Australian Bowling sensation Brett Lee is the fourth fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Lee achieved this milestone he was playing his 82nd match. The famous speedster would go on to play 221 ODI matches for his team to scalp 380 wickets at an average of 23.4 including 14 four-wicket hauls and 9 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against Sri Lanka on February 20, 2004 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium during a Bilateral ODI Series match. Brett would go on to take two wickets in the match as Australia would bowl Sri Lanka out for 178 to win the match by 84 runs.

3. Trent Boult
New Zealand Left-arm Pacer Trent Boult is the third fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Boult achieved this milestone he was playing his 81st match. The Pace Bowler has been a key member to his team.
He was playing against Bangladesh on June 5, 2019 at Kennington Oval, London in an ICC Cricket World Cup match. Trent would go on to take two wickets in the match as New Zealand would bowl Bangladesh to 244 to chase it down winning by 2 wickets.
2. Saqlain Mushtaq
Former Pakistan Off- break Bowler Saqlain Mushtaq is the second fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Saqlain achieved this milestone he was playing his 78th match. The inventor of Doosra would go on to play 169 ODI matches for his team to scalp 288 wickets at an average of 21.8 including 11 four-wicket hauls and 6 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against India on January 16, 1998 at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka in an Independence Cup match. Mushtaq would go on to take three wickets in the match that India won by 6 wickets.
1. Mitchell Starc
Left-arm Speedster from Australia, Mitchell Starc, is the fastest to 150 ODI wickets. When Starc achieved this milestone he was playing his 77th match. Though initially he was touted as a soft bowler, he fit nicely into the shoes of Mitchell Johnson who had created havoc with his tearaway pace and nagging line.
He was playing against West Indies on June 6, 2019 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham in an ICC Cricket World Cup match. Starc would go on to take fifer in the match as Australia would stop West Indies to 273/9 on chase to their 288.
