When Kallis reached this career milestone, he was the fourth in the world to be in the elite club of Cricketers when tallied against the least number of innings statistics. He took over the fourth slot from Inzamam-ul-Haq of Pakistan who reached this milestone in 324th innings of his career.
When this Top order batsman from South Africa scored his 11000th run on November 8, 2010 in a match against Pakistan at Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, he was the sixth cricketer in the world to score 11000 ODI runs.
4. Sourav Ganguly
Former Indian Cricketer Sourav Ganguly, who also appears to be in the top 5 of the fastest to 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000 and 10000 ODI runs, finds himself fourth on the list of cricketers who made their way fastest to 11000 ODI runs. Ganguly, who would go on to play 311 ODIs in a career spanning 15 years, scored his 11000th run in his 298th match and 288th ODI innings.
When Ganguly reached this career milestone, he was the second cricketer to do so with the least number of innings statistics, behind compatriot and long time opening partner Sachin Tendulkar. The Southpaw took over the slot on the record from Inzamam-ul-Haq of Pakistan who was on the second before Ganguly.

When the former Indian captain reached at 11000 ODI runs on August 27, 2007 against hosts England at Edgbaston, Birmingham on an away tour of Indian team, he was the fourth Cricketer in the World to do so. Set a target of 282, Ganguly would score 72 off 104 to anchor the Indian innings before everything would fall apart for India to concede a 42 runs loss to the hosts.

The former Australian Captain, who would go on to play 375 ODIs in a career spanning 17 years, scored his 11000th run in his 295th match and 286th ODI innings.
When Ponting reached this career milestone, he was the second cricketer to do so with the least number of innings statistics, the slot he took over from former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly. He was also the fifth Cricketer to reach 11000 ODI runs.
Coming in to bat at number 3 in a CB Series match against touring India at Sydney Cricket Ground on February 24, 2008, Ponting scored a commanding 124 off 133 balls to set a target of 318 for India who failed to match the tone of this match despite a fighting Gautam Gambhir’s innings of 113 off 119 balls.
2. Sachin Tendulkar
Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy 2010 Winner Sachin Tendulkar who also happens to be in the top 5 of the fastest to 9000 and 10000 ODI runs, finds himself second on the list of cricketers who made their way fastest to 10000 ODI runs. The former Indian Captain, who would go on to play 463 ODIs in a career spanning 23 years, scored his 11000th run in his 284th match and 276th ODI innings.
When Sachin reached this career milestone on January 28, 2002, he was the first Cricketer to reach 11000 ODI runs and he remained the fastest to score 11000 ODI runs for another 17 years. Set a modest target of 219 to chase at Green Park, Kanpur by a visiting England team, Sachin, opening the Indian batting with Virender Sehwag took India home with a majestic innings of unbeaten 87 off 67 balls.
1. Virat Kohli
Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy 2017 Winner Virat Kohli, who also appears to be in the top 5 of the fastest to 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 and fastest to 8000, 9000 and 10000 ODI runs, finds himself atop the list of cricketers who made their way fastest to 11000 ODI runs. Kohli, who is the only current cricketer on this list, scored his 11000th run in his 230th match and 222nd ODI innings.
When Virat reached this career milestone on June 16 2019, he was the ninth Cricketer to reach 11000 ODI runs and overtook the top slot of the fastest to 11000 runs from Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar by a decent 54 innings gap.
Coming into bat at his usual number 3, Kohli would score a 77 off 65 balls at Old Trafford, Manchester and India would pile up a team score of 336/5 against arch-rivals Pakistan in a rain-hit ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match which Pakistan lost by 89 runs on Duckworth Lewis method.
