The left-handed batsman achieved this career milestone on August 3, 2005 in an Indian Oil Cup match at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium against Sri Lanka. Opening the Indian Batting with Virender Sehwag, Ganguly scored a 110 balls 51 for the Indian team which scored a paltry 220 of their quota of 50 overs only to be chased down within 48 overs by Sri Lanka.

Opening the Indian Batting with Rahul Dravid, Tendulkar scored a 125 balls 139 for the Indian team against a visiting Australian team at Nehru Stadium, Indore to set a target of 300 off their quota of 50 overs to win the match by a massive 118 runs.

The Cricketer fastest to 8000 & 9000 ODI runs, Virat Kohli tops the list of cricketers who made their way fastest to 10000 ODI runs. The leading scorer for India in current decade, Kohli, scored his 10000th run in his 213th match and 205th ODI innings.
The Indian Batting sensation reached this career milestone on October 24, 2018 at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam against a visiting West Indies team. Coming in at usual number 3 position, Kohli would go on to score a fast 129 ball 157 to set a target of mammoth 321 for the touring side. Batting second, West Indies created one of the team total’s records to finish at exact 321/7 from their allotted overs.
