Upset for India
It wasn’t a day of smiles for Indian Star Deborah Harold. Deborah had to be content with the berth for World Cup as it was an upset for her in her favourite event Keirin where she finished fifth . In Keirin, out of 5 rounds, in last 2.5 rounds cyclists have to win through their speed. Chinese Cyclists Shanju Bao and Chaorui Song claimed Gold and Silver respectively. P. Nayana Rajesh who is representing India’s second team ‘SAINCA’ claimed Bronze of this event.
Disappointed at her show, Deborah told after the event, “I lost my concentration and lost the medal. I’m hopeful to give my best in upcoming tournaments.”
