Gaikwad played for 6 matches and scored 3 fifties in the 2020 season. Mahendra Singh Dhoni would hope him to be among runs in 2021 season as well as Chennai is looking for a better season this time.
Sam Curran

Imran Tahir

Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Josef Santner could get only two matches in the last edition of the India based T20 tournament and he would like to increase that number and performances as well. Karn Sharma
The Railways all-rounder hasn’t been at his best in T20 League tournament and he would like to change that in Indian Premier League 2021. The leg break bowler and lower order batsman started off well, but soon went into oblivion in the popular cricket tournament as inconsistency in his performances get his place to other players.
Dwayne Bravo
The West Indies all-rounder has been a revelation for the Chennai based side. The Champion bowler known for his off-cutters foxing the batsmen has won many matches for the former champions as a batsman as well and the Chennai Super Kings would like that to extend for the upcoming season as well from DJ Bravo.
Ravindra Jadeja
The Saurashtra Cricketer was the find of the season in Indian Premier League 2008 and though it took a while, but he has developed into an amazing all-rounder for his teams in all formats of Cricket. The Indian International Cricketer is recovering from an injury that he picked down under and would like to be back for the Indian Premier League season.
Faf du Plessis
The Proteas batting mainstay was also among runs in Indian Premier League season 2020, but couldn’t get much support from other batsmen as the team would fare badly in one of their worst outings in league cricket. Francois du Plessis has been part of CSK Squad for IPL 2021 and he, together with Captain MS Dhoni & Suresh Raina, would form the core strategizers for the team.
Robin Uthappa

The Uttar Pradesh Cricketer withdrew from the Indian Premier League 2020 citing personal reasons. The Corona had hit sports in the season and IPL was shifted to September-November and out of India. Suresh Raina would like to support, as he’s been doing for the side over the years as one of the most prolific scorers of the T20 tournament, as a part of CSK Squad for IPL 2021.
MS Dhoni
The Former Indian Captain is one of the most celebrated sporting icon of the country and also one of the most successful captains of Indian Premier League cricket. Phase 2 in UAE, Changes in CSK Squad for IPL 2021 :
Due to corona outbreak in India, the season was stopped post Match number 29 and all the remaining matches were shifted out of India to be held during September-October at UAE. With the changes in season schedules, there were withdrawals and new additions to the squads. Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings, however, remained unaffected by any withdrawal issues.
