Kolkata: Back to winning ways after a lengthy wait of four games, ATK head coach Teddy Sheringham is not leaving any stone unturned to maintain the winning momentum his team gathered by defeating Mumbai City 1-0, to clinch their first win of the season.
Seen couple of days earlier in the East Bengal vs Aizwal match, the ATK gaffer was once again seen sitting in the stands at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium, this time watching another Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan practise for their next game against Churchill, away from home.
The Manchester United legend was seen engraved in deep thoughts while watching the Mariners practise and it may well be that he has been trying to capture the tactics both the Kolkata giants use and impart it to his team.
The match against defending champions Aizwal was East Bengal’s first match at home, which ended in a draw after William Lalnunfela scored the decisive equaliser late into extra-time.
Meanwhile ATK take on Delhi Dynamos at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium on Saturday and Teddy perhaps wanted to see the nature of the turf especially after losing their first home match to FC Pune.
Interestingly while Teddy watched Bagan practise, the visiting ISL side Delhi Dynamos was noticed practising on a ground beside the Mariners, that could easily be seen from where Teddy sat.
