Barcelona has humbled many an opposition in the past, they have dominated games like the only team on the pitch and have humiliated the biggest of names, including Real Madrid. 10. Athletic Bilbao 4 – 0 FC Barcelona, 2015 Spanish Super Cup
Treble winning Barcelona were expected to sweep away Bilbao in the opener of the 2015-16 season, the Supercopa de Espana.
However, Spanish striker Aritz Aduriz inspired the Bilbao side to a mammoth victory of 4-0, a true humiliation for the Catalans. Barca could only manage a goal in the second leg and Bilbao won 5-1 on aggregate.
9. Real Sociedad 3 – 1 FC Barcelona, 2014-15 La Liga
Barcelona slipped up big time in the La Liga title race as they led for 24 weeks on the table and then lost a vital match away at Real Sociedad.
Barca players failed to turn up at basque country as Carlos Vela and Antoine Griezmann dictated the play to give Atlético Madrid a sniff at the title, which they eventually clinched on the final day.
8. FC Barcelona 2 – 0 Manchester United, 2009 UEFA Champions League Final
A Barcelona team comprising of the likes of Ronaldinho, Deco, Iniesta, and Xavi squared up against Brazilian outfit Internacional in the Final of the Club World Cup in Japan.
Barca couldn’t break through the gritty defense and the team from Porto Allegri clinched a late winner to stun the Champions League holders.

7. AS Roma 3 – 0 FC Barcelona, 2017-18 UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals 2nd Leg
Roma pulled off one of the surprises of the season when they rallied past Barcelona in the 2nd leg of the Champions League quarterfinals to win 3-0 and tie scores 4-4.
Dzeko, de Rossi, and Manolas scored as Roma went into the Semis on away goals at the expense of the Spanish champions.

6. Bayern Munich 7 – 0 Barcelona, 2012-13 UEFA Champions League Semifinals
Bayern Munich thrashed a star-studded Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate in the semifinals of the Champions League as the German giants made the most of Lionel Messi’s absence.
They scored 4 at the Allianz Arena and 4 at Camp Nou to complete the humiliation of their Spanish counterparts.

5. FC Barcelona 2 – 3 Befinca SL, 1961 European Cup Final
Barca became the first team in the history of the European Cup to beat Real Madrid, however, they came up short in the Final of the competition to gift Portuguese giants Benfica their first European Cup.
The match ended 3-2 amidst claims that the Barca players had not put in enough for their team because of a stand-off between players and manager.
4. FC Barcelona 0 – 0 (0 – 2) Steaua Bucuresti, 1986 European Cup Final
Another European Cup final defeat came unexpectedly as Barcelona coached by Terry Venables made heavy weather of Romanian side Steaua in the final in 1986.
They lose 2-0 on penalties, failing to convert even one shot, as star man Bernd Schuster cut a sorry figure.
3. FC Barcelona 4 – 0 AC Milan, 1994 UEFA Champions League Final
The Blaugrana Dream Team fell miserably to Fabio Capello’s AC Milan in the Final of the Champions League in Athens.
This humiliating defeat led to the eventual departure of the famous Johan Cryuff from the coaching role of Barcelona.

2. FC Barcelona 1 – 4 Real Madrid, 2008 La Liga
The infamous El Pasillo match where Barca players had to welcome the already champions Real Madrid team in a standing ovation was probably one of the most humiliating moments for the club from Catalunya.
Real didn’t stop there and thrashed Barcelona 4-1 at Camp Nou to further rub salt into the wounds of Barca fans.
1. Liverpool 4 – 0 FC Barcelona, 2018-19 UEFA Champions League Semifinals
A year after their stunning ouster at the hands of AS Roma, Barca somehow managed to repeat it all over again as their 3-0 lead from the first leg in Camp Nou was blown away by Liverpool’s four goals at Anfield.
The last goal, scored by Origi was a clear illustration of the match where Barca players had hardly any idea of what was going around them at all.
