Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is in the form of his life. He recently became the first Indian captain to score double hundred overseas. India won the match thanks to Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin’s contribution.
Kohli has a tremendous work ethic and this translates in his performance on the field.
“An unfit body is an invitation for negativity”, Kohli had recently told NDTV.
The 27-year-old batsman, who scored his maiden double century in the first Test in Antigua, on Tuesday, posted a video of himself working out in the gym, hours before the Indian team landed in Kingston, Jamaica, for the second cricket Test match against West Indies.
Kohli had a golden 2016 with performing incredibly in each format. The great thing about Kohli is that he doesn’t get satisfied easily and constantly looks to improve and refine his game.
The video shows Kohli lifting a bar with 10 kg plates on each side.
Indian team has a decent record at Sabina Park, Jamaica. They have won two, drawn three and lost six matches played at the venue.
India is on a high after winning the first Test convincingly and would like to believe that they have the momentum. WI faces a tough task to make a comeback and win their first series against India since 2002.
