Curling is a sport played with brooms, stones (rocks), shoes as equipment.
The sport is governed globally by the World Curling Federation – which also governs Paralympic sport of wheelchair curling.
The disciplines are Traditional, Mixed Doubles and Wheelchair Curling. Sport is played in a way to score points by sliding curling stones down a sheet of ice with the aim of getting as many of your stones closer to the centre of the house (the area that looks like a target) than your opponent.
