Abhinav Leads the way at the Opening Ceremony

It was a very proud moment for Abhinav Singh Bindra as he led India in the Nation’s Parade in the Opening ceremony of Rio Olympics.
Holding the Flag high, One could see how happy and proud he looked as walked down with the Indian team behind him.
Being the only gold medallist from India in 10m Air Riffle Shooting in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and winning medals in other such games made Abhinav worthy of carrying the Tricolor during the Opening ceremony. Shooting event is scheduled on 8th of August and everyone looks forward to see an excellent performance by Bindra.
Apart from a lot of enthusiasm could be seen within the participants and everyone waved the tricolor with utter respect.
It is first time in the history of India, that the team consists of such a large number of participants. India’s medal hope in the Rio Olympics has risen and the athletes will have a lot of pressure for performance during the games.
Nevertheless, Opening ceremony saw a confident Indian team and a team which is capable of making history.
